Intro

If we have a CCML Membership Directory, it would be behind a login members create themselves using the Login/Register button of this website. Member Directory is currently the only feature envisioned that would be behind the CCML website login.

The Directory would manually created and maintained, hence very simple. For example:

CCML Images Open Question

As discussed at the CCML meeting 11/8/24, CCML is exploring what to implement as an online photo solution for the org.
Options (and questions) include:
* Instagram (can Instagram do website widgets? Do those widgets require folks to be logged in to see embedded photos?)
* Loading all images in the CCML Facebook page
* Flickr feed (One advantage is here it should be easy to put categorized photostreams (that don't require a login) into the places in the website where ever it makes sense, e.g. Awards pages, party photos, group photos etc.)

Weebly is the hosting service currently used for the CCML website. Weebly was acquired by Square (squareup.com). We are using the Square member payment service option to collect CCML membership payments, as it's financial management options as well as payment options for members are better.
That said so far, some aspects of Square and Weebly have been integrated but not all.
There is currently no mechanism to get member data, such as renewal date and payment confirmation from Square over to the Weebly website and behind each individual's login on Weebly. Until that changes, we cannot provide data like that behind a member login in the way we did in our previous website.
