Catisha Benjamin, Marie St. Pierre, Jerry Carlson, and Liz Kellermeyer were renewed, and Ruby Nugent was appointed, as Adjoint Faculty with the Strauss Health Sciences Library.
Liz Kellermeyer and the National Jewish Health library were awarded an NNLM grant to host a hybrid event with Colorado’s Poet Laureate, Bobby LeFebre: Poetry as Praxis: an exploration of collective discourse and civic health. Information here.
Ellie Svoboda has been accepted into the 2022 MLA Research Training Institute (RTI) and was granted a scholarship that will cover the registration fee.
Carole Durst completed the MLA Consumer Health Information Specialization (CHIS) Level II.
Big congratulations to Carole Durst, who will be graduating from Texas Woman’s University in May with dual Master’s degrees in Library Science and Health Studies!
