  • Catisha Benjamin has been nominated to become Chair of AAMLA for MLA.
  • Lori Micho was elected Chair-Elect of the Complementary and Integrative Health Caucus for MLA
  • Catisha Benjamin was a panelist for the MLA session: AHIP 101: A Beginner’s Guide for Medical Librarians.
  • Congratulations to all the adjoint faculty who successfully renewed their status for 2025: Catisha Benjamin, Liz Kellermeyer, Rub`y Nugent, and Marie St. Pierre.
  • Yumin Jiang and Liz Kellermeyer were invited panelists for MLA’s Collection Development Caucus’s Forum on Collection Development Policies in March.
  • Carole Durst was awarded a 2026 MLA Collection Development Professional Development Grant, which she will use to attend the Charleston Conference in November.
  • Ruby Nugent received an MLA 2026 Travel Grant to attend the annual conference.
