Who We Are
CCML is an association of health science librarians in Colorado and Wyoming. Members are involved with information management in many types of libraries including universities and colleges, hospitals and clinics, professional organizations, non-profits and even public libraries. Membership in CCML benefits our professional growth through networking, education, and organizational participation. CCML strives to increase public awareness of, and support for, the profession of health sciences librarianship.

CCML's Mission
The Colorado Council of Medical Librarians (CCML) is an association of individuals involved with information management in the health sciences. Opportunities for professional growth are provided by CCML through networking, education, and organizational participation. By collaborating with other organizations, CCML strives to increase public awareness of, and support for, the profession. CCML monitors developments in health care and information science, and assesses their impact on the profession and its future.

- To optimize cooperation among CCML members.
- To strengthen affiliations between CCML and related groups.
- To respond to the educational and professional needs of CCML members.
- To enhance CCML's organizational structure and to support its future growth.

CCML Meetings and Events
Meetings and events are held on a voluntary rotating basis in the various members' institutions. Meetings include Council business and an educational program on a library or health care topic. Past programs have covered medical information systems, consumer health, medical emergencies, and trends in health care marketing.
